Research and development

The aim of such projects is to continuously improve the processes and methods of analysis used by the technologies in place at SDTech. Amongst these projects, some are selected, validated and financed by sources such as OSEO Innovation grants and others are funded by SDTech itself.

SDTech Micro also develops projects in collaboration with its technical partners:

• Netzsch for grinding/micronisation projects
• Malvern Panalytical for characterisation
• TÜV SÜD Process Safety for issues linked to powder reactivity and security.

SDTech Micro participates in European research projects in partnership with major industrial groups and research organisations. For example, following a European-wide tender, SDTech was selected to participate in the Healthgrain project from 2005 to 2009, which brought together 43 scientific contributors from 15 different countries.

In 2012 SDTech was selected as a partner in an important R&D project as part of the “Investments for the Future” programme.

A ce titre SDTech Micro a été retenue suite à un appel d’offre européen pour participer au projet Healthgrain qui regroupait 43 acteurs scientifiques issus de 15 pays différents. La filiale a également participé aux projets NICE et METEOR dans le domaine de l’aéronautique et du spatial ou encore POLIFRIL dans le domaine de la fabrication additive.
