Ploughshare mixer operating principle

The ploughshare mixer consists of a horizontal vessel with a central shaft fitted with rotating ploughshares. This system generates a three-dimensional movement of the powder, providing intensive mixing and rapid homogenisation of the various constituents.

Ribbon mixer operating principle

The ribbon mixer consists of a double helical ribbon agitator that ensures continuous circulation of the powder within the vessel. This movement produces a homogeneous blend whilst minimising the mechanical stresses applied to the particles.

High shear mixer operating principle

The high shear mixer applies an intense mechanical action generated by a high-speed agitation system. The process breaks up agglomerates, improves dispersion and facilitates the incorporation of components that are difficult to homogenise.

This technology is particularly suited to formulations requiring a high level of dispersion or the incorporation of fine fillers.
